Cesare Cremonini returns with three live albums

In the eyes of the fans present at the Teatro Grassi for his talk at Milan Music Week, Cesare Cremonini seemed inimitable. Even if you want to be a nerd, lately there are many who imitate him: there is a parody of Cremonini at the same time on GialappaShow and another on OnlyFun, a trendy comedy program, and this is a singer-songwriter record if we exclude Adriano Celentano. But it is music we have to talk about and, from the stage of a Milan theater, the Bolognese artist talks about his Cremonini Live25, a triple album that, available from today, presents his long musical history in black and white, expressed in the performances and music in the latest stadium tour, the thing with 600 thousand tickets sold. And many more tickets will be sold for 2026 if we have reached 200 thousand for the 4 events expected in June: in Rome (Circo Massimo, 6th), Milan (Ippodromo Snai La Maura, 10th), Imola (Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, 13th) and Florence (Visarno Arena, 17th). Most importantly, the double platinum album awarded to Cremonini for Alaska Baby is released in 2024: “I am someone who wakes up every morning and dreams, Cremonini explains to his listeners and this is a stroke of luck”. Not only for promotional reasons, every joke leads there, on a stage where, Cremonini explains, “I can completely abandon myself. The stage for me is a place of fruitful irrationality: there is disguise and theater but also sharing and danger. The risk of 50 thousand people, hanging on the edge between being an idiot or a genius”. Meeting people, explains the singer-songwriter from Bologna, “came from my father who was a doctor. He loved his patients and passed that on to me. As a child, I felt that he loved his patients more than me, I followed him to see the magic of meeting people”. These days being a singer-songwriter isn’t easy, says Cremonini: “These are times that steal, make noise about the wrong things, keep quiet about the right things.

Once upon a time, songwriters lived in a society that valued words. Currently the risk is not being heard. The problem in this era is imprecision. A little more attention to detail would have been enough. And people will really know what is good and what is bad.”
