Video | Support for the far right in Europe skyrockets among Generation Z | International

Fascist and anti-democratic ideologies are re-emerging not only in Spain, but among Generation Z (born between 1997 and 2012) across Europe. According to the German TUI Foundation, 21% of these young people would prefer to live under an authoritarian government, while among young people under 25 the vote for the far right skyrockets. Poland, Romania, Portugal, Germany… The far-right parties have achieved important results, driven above all by the vote of young people.

This program is produced by the ARTE channel and is distributed in 10 languages ​​thanks to the Emove Hub project which, in addition to EL PAÍS, includes Insights into the Balkans, Synopsis (Romania), Gazeta Wyborcza (Poland), International (Italy), Go (Latvia), Kathimerini (Greece), Le Soir (Belgium) e Telex (Hungary). The media participating in the project receive funding from the European Union according to the European Media Hubs call, led by the Directorate General of Networks, Content and Communication Technologies (DG Connect), which is part of the multimedia actions of the Twenty-Seven.
