EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has discussed a new US peace plan to end Russia’s war of aggression against Russia Ukraine announced. “We will discuss this situation with European heads of state and government as well as with leaders here on the sidelines of the G20 summit,” the top German politician said at a news conference in Johannesburg. He will also contact Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. It is important to remember that nothing can be decided without Ukraine.
Von der Leyen did not comment on the contents of the new plan. According to EU Council President António Costa, he became EU has not been officially communicated.
