In the climate of spiritual fervor that precedes the close of the Jubilee and the arrival of Holy Christmas, the Association of the Heralds of Saint Padre Pio of Pietrelcina announced the solemn ceremony of ordination of the new Herald of Saint Pio, an important event for the community of the faithful. The celebration will be held on Saturday November 22 at 16.30 at the Church of Santa Rita da Cascia alle Vergini, at Via dell’Umiltà 83, in Rome. The Holy Mass and coronation ceremony will be presided over by Monsignor Lorenzo Pelati, Rector of the Church, and by Don Nicola Gagliarde, current President and Spiritual Guide of the Heralds of Saint Pio. During the event, Prior Giovanni Pimpinella will proceed with the official consecration and coronation of the new members.
The event will feature the participation of many historical members of the Association and figures from the academic and scientific world such as Professor Cesare Iafrate, Professor Antonio Giordano and Professor Domenico Lamorte, as well as the presence of faithful and devotees, including Marisa, granddaughter of Father Marciano Morra. This association was founded on the initiative of Archbishop Andrea Mugione and Father Marciano Morra, the last monk close to Santo Pio and the historic coordinator of the Padre Pio Prayer Group at international level; today it is presided over by Don Nicola Gagliarde, by Prior Giovanni Pimpinella and by Dean Judge Mario Dantino, who is also its official spokesperson.
