“Not even a single rose” fights gender violence – Il Tempo

ACSI presented the project to the Lazio Region

ACSI – Association of Culture, Sport and Leisure – will present on November 26, in the Sala Tevere of the Lazio Region, the national project “Even with roses”, an initiative dedicated to the prevention and fight against gender violence, with special attention to the involvement of new generations, financed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

This meeting, which is in synergy with institutions, associations, operators and experts in the field, aims to raise the theme of cultural prevention and education, starting from the places where future citizens are formed: schools, fitness centers, sports associations and social reality.

“Not even with a rose” addresses gender violence as a collective responsibility, by actively involving men and women in awareness, information and training processes.
The project includes theoretical-practical meetings with psychologists, law enforcement operators, special trainers and self-defense instructors, as well as the distribution of special information materials.

“Our goal – says ACSI – is not only to provide defense tools, but above all to promote a culture of mutual respect, consensus and healthy relationships. Prevention is the main path to reducing violence and building a more equal and safer society.”

This event on November 26 was a moment of dialogue and discussion between institutions and the associative world, in the path that ACSI is carrying out throughout the national territory to contribute to the achievement of Goal 5 of the 2030 Agenda, dedicated to gender equality.
