Photos from RTL events cause irritation

An Instagram post from RTL sparked discussion about the furry “Summer Home of the Stars” moment. The online reaction was huge.
An innocuous trailer sparked ridicule and speculation: In the wake of “The Summer House of the Stars” reunion, a detail in RTL’s Instagram post brought plenty of fodder for discussion. The focus: Jenny Degenhart – and something that initially surprised many viewers.
What is there to see? Degenhart sat on a sofa in the studio during a TV appointment, wearing a glittering dress — and visible hairy legs underneath. The combination with white tennis socks increases the contrast effect. RTL itself commented on the picture on Instagram with the caption: “Why isn’t anyone talking about Jenny’s legs?” – and sparked a wave of reactions. The station also published the photos on Facebook.
Many users took part in the discussion, including famous faces from the world of trash TV. Influencer Pia Tillmann tried to classify the scene humorously: “It’s almost winter…”. Another wondered, “Has he stopped shaving?” or guessing clearly the “pure nature of the team”.
Jenny Degenhart herself also spoke out – with an ironic answer under an Instagram post: “That’s what I call real naturalness: dressed like in a fairy tale, legs like in life.”
But this mystery is just an optical illusion. An alternate camera perspective shows: The very hairy lower legs do not belong to Degenhart himself, but to his partner Marvin Kleinen. Calvin Kleinen’s little brother sat on the couch wearing socks and sandals during the performance, but the sandals slipped at one point.
When Marvin Kleinen leans in close to Degenhart, his legs protrude into the image in such a way that they visually merge with his feet. The result: a signature internet moment that quickly became a meme.
