“This changes everything! »: You will soon be able to pay for your bus tickets with a credit card in Paris and its inner suburbs

Sound! “Ah well, it works very well! » This Thursday afternoon, the president of the regional council of Île-de-France Valérie Pécresse (LR) made a short trip on bus 85, between the Place du Châtelet (Ist) and the Cadet stop (IXth), to test for herself the purchase of a ticket with a credit card. The selected person took out his smartphone and was able to verify that the operation only took a few seconds.

Since November 5, cardboard bus tickets are no longer sold. From now on, to use public transport, you must have an Easy pass, Liberté + pass or Navigo. The geekiest have already downloaded it to their smartphones while others use the classic magnetic badge.
