Caltagirone Editore announced that, starting December 2, Roberto Napoletano will assume the role of director of Il Messaggero.
Born in La Spezia in 1961, Napoletano returned to lead the Roma newspaper he had directed from 2006 to 2011, then switched to directing Il Sole24ore. Since April 2024, Napoletano has served as director of Il Mattino di Napoli.
The publisher, we read in the note, thanks the outgoing director, Massimo Martinelli, who will take over the direction of Master of Journalism and Media Communication “Paolo Graldi” and wishes Napoletano all the best in his work.
At the same time, Caltagirone Editore announced that from 2 December Vincenzo Di Vincenzo would become director of the newspaper Il Mattino. Born in Naples in 1959, Di Vincenzo spent his career at the Ansa agency where he held positions of increasing responsibility in Naples, Rome and Milan. Since May 27, Di Vincenzo has served as Deputy Director of the newspaper. “The publisher wishes Vincenzo Di Vincenzo all the best in his work and thanks outgoing director Roberto Napoletano,” the note said.
