The French football team will return to the Stade de France, the FFF has reached an agreement with GL Events

Over the last two years, the Blues have become accustomed to staying at the Parc des Princes, in the 16th match.e Paris district or, more often, the region. But the Stade de France will once again be their main residence: an agreement has been reached between GL Events, the new concessionaire of the venue located in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis), and the French Football Federation (FFF). Authorized by the agency’s executive committee on Friday November 21, the agreement will be signed in the coming weeks once all contract details have been ratified.

“This is good news for all parties”welcomed Philippe Diallo, president of the FFF, who has led tough negotiations on this issue with the Lyon events company in recent months. Since there is no agreement until then, the French team will hold its first three matches of the 2025-2026 season at the Parc des Princes, against Iceland (2-1), Azerbaijan (3-0) and Ukraine (4-0). More broadly, the selection led by Didier Deschamps has played just two of its last fourteen home games at the Stade de France.
