Ilka Bessin turned 54 years old on Tuesday and apparently received a lot of congratulations on her birthday. In her new post, she now reacts to the news and provides her honest insight in two ways.
The comedian, known for her fictional character Cindy from Marzahn, posted a picture on Instagram showing herself without makeup and with a serious expression. She wore sunglasses and a black top, her blonde hair tied loosely. The production is intentionally simple – the focus is on the message, not the events.
Accompanying the photo, Bessin thanked her fans for the many birthday wishes and wrote: “November 18th is my birthday and now? Thank you for the wishes. Great. A year older. People ask: ‘How do you feel like that?’ I was like, ‘Hmm, older, just a year older’. In this sense. Don’t worry. There’s no harm in it. Celebrate each other all year round. I did. Love and respect each other.” The words are not aimed at the birthday itself, but rather at an attitude towards getting older – an attitude that relies on calm and self-acceptance.
