Philippe Faure, who is the French ambassador to Mexico, Morocco and Japan, will reveal the ranking of the best restaurants in the world this Monday, November 24. In 2015, he founded “La Liste”, which uses guides, press articles and customer reviews to create lists of the most popular restaurants.
The former diplomat and former owner of the Gault et Millau guide has had an interest in gastronomy from a young age. His father, Maurice Faure, a prominent Fourth and Fifth Republican who died in 2014, hosted François Mitterrand at the family table every year.
