He promised to confide after entering the top 30. Ève Gilles, Miss France 2024, published a long message this Saturday, November 22 on Instagram to recall her adventures in the Miss Universe 2025 competition, which ended this Friday with the coronation of Miss Mexico, Fatima Bosch. The former Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais ultimately became one of the competition’s 30 finalists, but was not selected to make the top 12, unlike Ophély Mézino, Miss Guadeloupe.

“This is the end of this Miss Universe adventure, I am very proud to have represented France! » she wrote in the opening text. The 22-year-old young woman especially emphasized the support she received, both from her friends, her family, but also from her subscribers who regularly sent messages of encouragement during this long adventure that lasted almost three weeks.

“New project in my head”

“I gave the best of myself, I couldn’t have done more, so I have no regrets,” she said, “very proud”, she matched the result achieved by Indira Ampiot the previous year. Throughout her journey at the 74th edition of the international beauty pageant, every day she shared outfits created especially for the event by more than a dozen designers. The Dunkirk (North) native wanted to thank them in his message. Among them: Aymerick Zana, Romain Thévenin, James Paris, Victor Weinsanto, Hugo Desloges, Julien Paoletti and even the house of Pierre Cardin. She will also reveal one of the dresses she is supposed to wear to the Miss France 2026 ceremony in December in Amiens (Somme).

The man who crowned Angélique Angarni-Filopon last year also announced that he had “new projects in his head”, including the creation of a foundation “soon”. The aim of this charitable commitment is to link the “three commitments” of Nona, who suffers from paroxysmal dyskinesia: “The fight against harassment and cyber harassment, helping rare disease research but also promoting and helping women to start science studies”.

Before being elected Miss France 2024, Ève Gilles was completing a degree in mathematics and computer science applied to human and social sciences at the University of Lille, after attempting a first year of medicine. In addition, it could be that he will return to university soon: “I should also contact my university to return to study,” the model concludes.
