“Fluctuat Nec Mergitur”: the Garden’s majestic tifo in tribute to the victims of November 13, 2015 in front of PSG-Le Havre

It’s moving. Ten years after the attacks that took place in Paris and Saint-Denis, in which more than 130 people lost their lives, Auteuil corner wants to pay a beautiful tribute to the victims of November 13 before challenging Le Havre this Saturday in the framework of the 13th day of Ligue 1.

As the players entered, the fans unveiled a giant tifo that read “Fluctuat Nec Mergitur” (“He was battered by the waves, but did not drown”), which is the motto of the city of Paris.

The candles are represented in blue and red at the bottom of the tifo with the words “13.11.2015 / 13.11.2025. Je suis Paris”. Several monuments representing the City of Lights such as the Eiffel Tower or the Moulin Rouge are also visible.

The Le Havre parking lot also paid tribute to the victims with the banner “13/11/2015: France will never forget. »

The second award goes to the Parc des Princes

The Parc des Princes was already a memorial during the international break during France’s win against Ukraine (4-0).

A minute’s silence was observed on the pitch before a special tribute was held at the 15th minute. The 45,000 people present at the stadium turned on their mobile phones with a banner raised at the bottom of the Boulogne stand: “To our 132 stars of November 13”.
