Tokio Hotel singer Bill Kaulitz created a special atmosphere on the ARD television show “Deadly Game – The Live Crime Dinner”: The 36-year-old descended from a pink cake during the live broadcast – armed with a confetti cannon. Kaulitz played a dual role at the event: He served as Angel’s party planner and at the same time supported the “Tatort” team of Axel Prahl and Jan Josef Liefers as game manager. The show aired on the first day.
That night, the audience was supposed to try to become a criminal and solve a murder. The family and close friends of an important board game entrepreneur gathered in a grand castle setting for his 70th birthday. But before he could announce his successor and the lavish celebrations could begin, an assassination occurred. Each character has their own secrets, motives and unfinished business – but ultimately the audience can’t help but get confused and guess correctly.
In addition to Kaulitz, the crime dinner show featured other TV stars. Uwe Ochsenknecht, Annette Frier and Max Giermann were also there. Jessy Wellmer led the night – and Bill Kaulitz brought a lot of momentum to the sombre birthday group. The singer took care of the gifts, balloons and also the drinks. “We’ll get rid of some of our worries now, won’t we?” Kaulitz asked the group while mixing. He made himself a Manhattan, then toasted it.
