Washington (USA) – A US court has ruled out the President’s administration’s plans Donald Trump to expand the acceleration of migrant deportations has been temporarily stopped.
A Washington appeals court on Saturday (Nov. 22) declined to stay the lower court’s ruling. The court ruled that the plan violated the rights of those affected to due process.
The US government wants to deport migrants nationwide more quickly

For nearly three decades, expedited deportation procedures were applied only to migrants apprehended directly at the border. However, in January the government expanded the regulations. Therefore, this provision should apply to all non-citizens who are anywhere in the US and cannot prove that they have been in the country for at least two years.
The appeal will be heard at the end of this year
The government’s appeal regarding this matter is scheduled to be heard on December 9. Initially there was no statement from the responsible ministry.
