To Silvia Toffanin, Ornella Vanoni has spoken about her relationship with the thought of death: “For me, it is easy to think that death is near. I am practically 91 years old. But I don’t want to die too late, too old, too old in short. I don’t want to because I want to live as long as I give something to life and life gives me something. The day that I no longer give or no longer gives to me, I don’t want to live.”
