A man takes too long to fix his car. He visited the workshop with two friends – fists quickly started flying.
Six people attacked each other in a wild brawl at a car repair shop on Saturday afternoon. According to police, a customer and two of his friends fought with three workshop employees. In the end, officials counted four people injured, two from each side. They were treated as outpatients at a nearby hospital.
The altercation started in Niedernhausen in the Rheingau-Taunus district of Hesse at around 15:00. The customer came to the repair shop with his two friends because his car was taking too long to repair. A police spokesperson told t-online: “The customer felt like he was under arrest – and then the wrong words were said.”
It was unclear who attacked first. “Versions vary,” said a police spokesman. One of the opponents also used an iron rod during the fight. However, it is not yet certain who.
However, what is clear is that after the fight, the customer and his two friends left by car while the workshop employee called the police. Officers placed the vehicle on a wanted list, and patrols were eventually able to locate the suspect.
Officers are now investigating all six people involved for grievous bodily harm. The workshop employees consisted of a 57 year old, an 18 year old, and a 15 year old; on the customer side, two are 34 years old and one is 29 years old.
