Speeder escapes after an accident with another car

A car drove along the A100 at night – and crashed into a guardrail. The driver then got into another vehicle.

A driver caused a crash on the A100 in Schöneberg last night and then fled the scene. A witness alerted emergency services, police at Platform X said.

The man is said to have been traveling at excessive speed and lost control of his vehicle. He then crashed into the guardrail. After the accident, the driver got out of the damaged car and fled the scene in another car.

The highway was closed to three lanes southbound until around 7 a.m. At that time, traffic was diverted via secondary routes. Emergency services seized the vehicle involved in the accident. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
