They have great ideas. Was there a moat preventing these criminals from accessing the warehouse they wanted to rob? No problem: they filled it with logs, made a small bridge, to access the location and launched the Renault Scénic into the metal curtain of the target company.
These facts, which were tried last Friday in the criminal court of Meaux, occurred on December 2, 2024, at 3:40 am, in Collégien. In front of six hooded men, dressed in dark clothes and equipped with headlights: the MGF company, located on rue de l’Amirault, along D 471. Their crime lasted four minutes, enough time to recover a box containing 980 mobile phones and about fifteen computers. The same hit of 150,000 euros.
The team fled in a BMW X5, which had been stolen in Rozay-en-Brie a few days earlier. But there was one mistake: one of the criminals forgot the walkie-talkie in the ram car left there. With the added bonus of a good genetic footprint.
Therefore, it is difficult for Steve (first name has been changed) to deny, before the Meaux Criminal Court, his involvement in this grand robbery. But there was no question whether he would provide the names of his accomplices. “I’m not a person who likes to think,” he simply assured in a low voice. The young father does not understand why he is being charged with criminal conspiracy: “There were no weapons and we did not kidnap people. »
“Because it’s easy”
President Marie Troussard wants to understand why Steve, accompanied by four accomplices, returned to the same place several weeks later. “There is no particular reason. Because it is easy, because it works well. » Therefore, the MGF company was attacked again with a car crash, with another Renault Scénic, on January 6, 2025… at the same time.

A simple “executor” for his lawyer
Last Wednesday Steve was arrested in Choisy-en-Brie by the SCOS bandit brigade (organized and special crime section, former judicial police of Meaux), after a careful telephone investigation and physical surveillance. In the trailer, investigators confiscate guns, ammunition and a reprogramming box to start the car.
What about looted items not found during the search? Steve reassured him: “We were cheated. » Deputy prosecutor Noémie Béguin did not hide her doubts: “You didn’t plan anything to sell so many goods? I find it hard to believe you. »
And to ask for a four-year prison sentence, with a guilty warrant against the defendant, who was convicted and jailed for aggravated burglary: “We’re at the high end of the crime spectrum in property crimes. He’s a frequent offender,” the judge said.
A completely different analysis on the part of the lawyer, who presented his client as an “executor”, who did not “sit at the round table” to organize the robbery. “We called him and said: Hey, don’t you want to make money? He doesn’t think and he will take action for everyone,” pleaded Me Valérie Viera.
The judge sentenced the father to three years in prison for aggravated theft and criminal conspiracy. He was jailed after the trial.
