Rome, November 23 (Adnkronos) – Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met with Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed Ali, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit. We read about it in the notes from Palazzo Chigi.
The meeting confirmed the superiority of bilateral relations and the Ethiopian side’s appreciation for the various initiatives currently being implemented in the Mattei Plan, including the recently launched debt conversion initiative of African Countries.
The conversation also offers an opportunity to exchange ideas on the next Italy-Africa Summit to be held in 2026 and provide perspectives on key regional and international African themes.
