Icy roads caused a crash on Autobahn 9 in Central Franconia Monday evening. As POLICE reported that a truck near Hienberg in the direction of Munich left the road due to the slippery road surface and slipped into a ditch. The driver remained uninjured.
The A9 is currently closed to the south. Police described the current weather situation as “cold, wet, slippery” and warned of dangerous road conditions.
