North Rhine-Westphalia starts the week with winter road conditions. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), freezing and slippery conditions will occur on Monday morning, especially in the highlands. Heavy rain will occur across the country during the day. The maximum temperature on Monday reached a maximum of five to eight degrees, and in higher regions it was only four degrees.

On Tuesday evening, the sky in North Rhine-Westphalia remained very cloudy. In some areas there will be light rain, in mountainous areas there will be hail or snow. According to DWD, temperatures dropped to three to zero degrees, and in Hochsauerland it was minus two degrees. Fog has formed in some places and there is a risk of slippery roads again. Motorists must be alert. On Tuesday the clouds will remain. Meteorologists expect light rain at times and snow at higher elevations.

Temperatures rise to four to six degrees, in the mountains up to about two degrees. This will become clear on Wednesday Weather it’s mostly gray at first. As the weather develops, clouds will clear slightly from the northwest. Most of it remains dry. Maximum temperatures range between two and six degrees.
