Although the start of winter brought snowfall even in the lowlands, there was no major traffic chaos on the roads in Thuringia. The situation on the highway remained calm, the highway police said in the morning. There were no major accidents during the night. However, drivers must be careful when driving because of the possibility of slippery snow on the road.
