Fátima Bosch’s family has an important political and social influence in Tabasco. His father, Bernardo Bosch Hernández, has worked at Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) for 27 years. This Sunday, faced with accusations that the company had manipulated the results of the competition due to Bernardo Bosch’s business ties with Raúl Rocha Cantú, president of Miss Universe, the oil company intervened to clarify the issue on its social networks. “Pemex clarifies that it has no interference with the management of the international Miss Universe competition and that the publication of congratulations to Fátima Bosch Fernández was made in the context of popular enthusiasm for her victory,” the document reads.
However, the oil company acknowledges that there is a contract signed in 2023 between the companies Servicios PJP4 de México SA de CA and Soluciones Gasificadores del Sur SA de CV, owned by Rocha Cantú.
