From Disiz the Plague to Disiz the Gentle. Twenty-five years after “J’pète lesplombs”, Disiz released one of the hits of the end of the year with “Melodrama”, a duet with Théodora, and one of the best French records of the year with his fourteenth album, “on s’en s’appelra pas”, released last Friday. The least we can say is that this title is not a premonition. We will remember this album, no capital letters but very capital letters, that went straight into our top 3 artists.
At 47, the singer-songwriter only raps on two songs out of the 20 songs on her album, but finds the perfect balance between pop, songs, electro and hip-hop, ballads and up-tempo.
