Between Belgian ecstasy and marijuana bought in Spain, this gang of thugs from Argenteuil wins in every sense. Eight men, aged 23 to 58, were arrested last week as part of a drug trafficking and importation investigation. They are alleged to have organized, since April, between Argenteuil, Dunkirk (Pas-de-Calais) and even the Osny detention center, a profitable trade in marijuana and ecstasy pills.
The Pontoise district attorney’s office determined that seven suspects had been charged and placed in pre-trial detention on Sunday, including two awaiting arraignments before a liberty and detention judge scheduled for Thursday. The eighth defendant will be presented to the investigating judge this Monday.
