VWe never thought we would hear it again Released, Delivered ? Fail! In a few months, this iteration may come to mind with the opening of World of Frozen, the new themed land of Walt Disney Studios, Disneyland Paris’ second park. The reproduction of Arendelle, the kingdom of the Snow Queen, is almost complete. After several years of work, the scaffolding was replaced by a colorful Scandinavian structure, straight out of a Disney feature film.

In the center of the village, the majestic clock tower attracts all eyes. Logically, the structure would be the entrance to the area’s only attraction, Frozen: Ever After, which would offer visitors the opportunity to board a small boat for a water ride and scenic views. To the right, stands the other main architectural decoration element: the castle of Elsa and her sister Anna, recognizable by its turquoise roof. The public will not be able to enter, but the neighboring room dedicated to meeting the Snow Queen will give the impression of entering a palace.
All you have to do is look up to see the North Mountain, 36 meters high, where Elsa’s famous ice castle is perched. Thanks to a skillful play of proportion and perspective, the cliffs overlooking the village of Arendelle create the illusion of a much larger world. Warm, filled with dozens of small details, World of Frozen, with its tiny fishing boats and shop windows, completely immerses you in the world of Disney’s most chilling heroine. This area, which is especially beautiful at night, thanks to cleverly installed lighting, invites you to take a walk. For immersion, this is perfect!Snowflakes on the cake: four times a day, the public can attend the show that takes place in Arendelle Bay. On the program: a “parade” of majestic longships, boats used by the Vikings, with, on board, all the characters from Snow Queen. Among them: Olaf, the famous snowman, is very “realistic” thanks to robot technology developed by Disney.

Double event: the big-eared company will take advantage of the opening of the World of Frozen to rename Walt Disney Studios. Disney Adventure World – the park’s new name – will offer an experience focused entirely on the company’s feature films. Therefore, come out from the backstage of the cinema. A creative repositioning that’s not surprising considering all the attractions dedicated to Hollywood have gradually disappeared or changed themes since the park opened in 2002.
The project, which is supported by an investment of 2 billion euros, begins in July 2022 with the inauguration of the Avengers Campus, an area completely dedicated to Marvel Studios films. With the opening of World of Frozen, Disney takes the second step in its major transformation. The creation of the Frozen village, astutely put forward by the company – “obvious” to Natacha Rafalski, president of Disneyland Paris, given its enormous success with the public – is in reality the trees that hide the forest.
Due on March 29, visitors will also be able to discover Adventure Way, a new main artery, an important living space in any Disney park. There are 3 thematic parks, very relaxing, one of which is dedicated to Rapunzel. The heroine with the endless hair even deserves her own family attraction based on the rotating gondola located in the middle of Adventure Way.
So as not to betray an exaggerated impression specific to the Disney universe, this artery will lead pedestrians to an artificial lake measuring… three hectares! This body of water will become the focal point of the park, connecting all the thematic areas into one. You can even dine at Regal View, an elegant restaurant with Art Nouveau décor – including depictions of local princesses.

In the evening, this lake will become a new performance venue that can compete with it Disney Magical Tales, evening shows in other parks.
