Thanks also to Giovanni Manildo for his beautiful campaign in Veneto. Victory of the center-left and this is good news. However, we cannot but look with concern at the turnout: a 15% drop in turnout compared to the last regional elections is a sign of serious dissatisfaction, involving all political forces, and the Party Democrats first, to exercise greater understanding and engagement efforts.” That’s PD MEP Giorgio Gori.
“The project that we are called to develop in the context of the elections must seek to reach all citizens, even those who currently remain at home, by presenting concrete proposals of hope for change and making the prospect of a center-left government credible”, he concluded.
