Three people were injured in Madrid by an 18-year-old teenager in what was described as a “jihadist attack”. This was reported by the OkDiario newspaper, according to which the attack occurred on Saturday at around 2 pm in the center of the Spanish capital.
Officers found the suspect, identified as “Maghrebi”, at his home, after being alerted by his brother, who was concerned about his “aggressive behavior”. Anti-terrorism unit officers first attempted to subdue the 18-year-old, armed with a machete, shouting “Allah akbar” with a taser, then opened fire, seriously injuring him. The young man was hospitalized, while authorities have opened an investigation into a “jihadist attack”.
