Curious about being sent off in the Premier League. Everton professional player Idrissa Gueye hit his own teammate in the face and received a red card.

It sounds like a bad joke: Everton’s Idrissa Gueye was sent off with a red card after 13 minutes of the match against Manchester United because he punched his own teammate Michel Keane in the face. Yes, you read that right: his teammates.

But first things first. Gueye wanted to pass to Keane in his own penalty area, but he didn’t run after the ball. Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes didn’t hesitate for long, but his shot still went over the goal.

Then Gueye blew the fuse. He suddenly ran towards Gueye towards Keane angrily and had a big fight with his teammates. He then pushed him away – and Gueye freaked out.

Gueye got a red card because he hit his teammate – Everton still won

The Senegalese punched Keane in the face, which was seen by referee Tony Harrington. He didn’t hesitate for long and sent Gueye off the field. He then had to be calmed down by his team-mates, while Keane appeared to shout something afterwards. The day used for Gueye.

But not for his team, Everton FC. Despite being outnumbered for 77 minutes against Manchester United, the Toffees won 1-0 because Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall undermined half of the opponent’s defense then flicked the ball unstoppably into the top right corner.
