“Alberto Stefani will be the new President of the Veneto Region. A victory that is the result of the work, credibility and seriousness of our coalition. My praise and best wishes convey to him for the challenges that await him,” wrote Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on social media. Congratulations also to Antonio Decaro in Puglia and Roberto Fico in Campania on their election – he added – May they carry out their mandate as well as possible, in the interests of the citizens of the countries they will represent. Thank you to Edmondo Cirielli, to Luigi Lobuono, to all the candidates and to all the men and women of the center-right who have committed themselves to this election cycle.”
In Veneto, according to Eligendo data, Liga was the first party in the Region with a gain of 36.28%, followed by FdI at 18.69%, Fi at 6.30%, Liga Veneta at 1.83%, Unione di Centro at 1.68% and Noi Moderati at 1.12%.

List Szumski Resistere Veneto, supports Riccardo Szumski 4.96%, Popular Sovereign Democracy for president Rizzo 0.77%, Popolari for Veneto, supports Fabio Bui, 0.36%.
Deputy Prime Minister and League leader Matteo Salvini rejoiced at the results achieved in Veneto when he won the center-right internal contest, seeing Carroccio’s supremacy confirmed and thus refuting the thesis that the region was ready to change sides by turning to fire. And he talked about “a very important victory. Now I think about the policies,” he said.
PD is the first party in Puglia with 25.91% followed by Fdi with 18.73%, Decaro Presidente gets 12.72%, Fi 9.11%, For Puglia Decaro 8.54, Lega Puglia 8.04%, M5S 7.22%, Avs 4.09%, Avanti Popolari with presidential candidate Decaro 4.09%, We Moderate PKn for Lobuono 0.83%, Puglia with us 0.08%.
The centre-left, encouraged by the result, is also thinking about 2027. The myth of Giorgia Meloni’s ‘invincibility’ ends today, the opposition says. The defeat of the Fdi deputy minister, Edmondo Cirielli in Campania, was “Meloni’s defeat”. The far right has been betting on it. It ended with a 20 point margin. And it was the match in Campania that was the most complicated match for the left-centre defender. An important step in building a coalition that will challenge the far right in politics: from reformists to Avs. It was no coincidence that all the leaders arrived in Naples from Rome to Fico’s committee. First, Elly Schlein. The Secretary of the Democratic Party can celebrate the victory of the line of ‘stubborn unity’ and the victory of a Democratic Party that enjoys very good health in terms of consensus: the first party in Puglia and Campania, the first party of the coalition in Veneto. “The message is clear, there is an alternative and it is competitive, redemption starts from the South and will lead us to victory because for politics the game is wide open,” said Schlein before taking a photo with the center-left leaders from the stage. And again: “You often hear me say that united we win, but Fico and Decaro’s margin of victory shows that united we win by a landslide. This is the way, the voters have rewarded the united effort. All this makes me think of a great poet in this country, the air is so bad.”
Then a jab at Meloni: “We will continue in this direction to defeat Giorgia Meloni who tonight has little to celebrate and jump about. She has lost the reigns, she has lost Giorgia Meloni”. Giuseppe Conte, who followed the tally with his own Roberto Fico, insisted: “Fico is president, they can’t jump around any more.”
