Here is a picture of a man posing as his mother who died several years ago, coming to the city government to renew an identity card that had expired and was used to collect his pension. To resolve bureaucratic problems, the 57 year old man appeared at City Hall disguised as an old womanin wigs and women’s clothing, hoping to update the document. Registry office officials immediately recognized the disguise and local police were called to investigate the situation. During the examination, the darkest side of the story emerged: the man had hidden his mother’s body in the basement, died in 2022 of natural causes, and continues to receive his pension.
