“Our relationship is one that looks at the themes of culture and creativity from an economic point of view, therefore analyzing the role of the business world, operators, the third sector world and public administration in contributing to value creation.” These were the words of Alessandro Rinaldi, deputy general director of the Guglielmo Tagliacarne Chamber of Commerce Study Center, at the presentation of the 15th edition of the ‘I am culture’ report held in Rome. This report was produced by the Tagliacarne Study Center and the Simbola Foundation, Unioncamere and Deloitte in collaboration with the Institute for Sports and Cultural Credit, the Fitzcarraldo Foundation, Fornasetti and with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
“The report covers a broad cultural sector, from historical and cultural heritage to video games, involving activities that we traditionally identify as culture and activities that are more purely industrial or business – he adds –. The main theme is skills and human resources, because culture cannot function without people and professionalism. The world of culture is actually a world in transformation, where the importance of digital and environmental skills as well as what we call strength skills, that is, transversal skills, such as the ability to work in teams and problem solving. It is difficult to find staff who meet these characteristics.”
