Rome, November 25 (Adnkronos) – “In a world filled with uncertainty and highly impactful technologies,” namely artificial intelligence, “culture becomes relevant for four reasons. First of all, as UNESCO says, culture is identity. This in turn creates distinctiveness and competitiveness”, a concept that applies “also in corporate organizations, especially organizations like ours that are based on human resources. Second, culture promotes cohesion, human relationships and, therefore, efficiency in companies”. Valeria Brambilla, CEO of Deloitte & Touche SpA, explained this at the presentation of the 15th edition of the ‘I am culture’ report held in Rome.
This report was produced by the Symbola Foundation, Unioncamere, the Guglielmo Tagliacarne Chamber of Commerce Study Center and Deloitte in collaboration with the Institute for Sports and Cultural Credit, the Fitzcarraldo Foundation, Fornasetti and with the support of the Ministry of Culture.
“The third aspect – continues Brambilla – is related to the critical spirit that culture inspires in humans, an aspect that in the future will be indispensable for directing artificial intelligence and machines to work, as well as for monitoring the results that AI will give us. Finally, culture generates creativity and innovation at a level that artificial intelligence cannot have. For all these reasons, now, more than ever, organizations like ours need culture”, he concluded.
