A driver has died after a serious crash on the A3. The 77-year-old man died of his injuries at a hospital, police said. On Tuesday evening, for unknown reasons, his car skidded on the fast lane near Obertshausen, hit a concrete barrier and then collided with another car. Two other occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries. After the accident, the A3 road towards Köln was closed until 22.20.
