Primark, the Irish low-cost clothing chain, consolidates its position in Italy with the opening of its twentieth store in Biella, in the «Gli Orsi» shopping center and announces an agreement with Segro, a company specializing in industrial real estate development, for the creation of its own logistics platform, the first on the Peninsula. The Biella store is in a shopping center managed by Sonae Sierra Italia, spread over an area of 2,300 square meters, requiring an investment of 6.5 million and creating around ninety new jobs. Customers will be able to shop a wide range of products, from everyday necessities to the latest fashion trends, including the popular Edit collection and collaborations with Rita Ora and Paula Echevarría.

The building will be built according to a built to suit approach, reflecting the specific needs of the customer. The property will be built with special attention to sustainability, aiming to obtain Breeam’s new construction certification “Excellent” and BiodiverCity, a new certification pathway aimed at evaluating and promoting the value of biodiversity in the real estate sector. The facility will also be equipped with a number of features aimed at improving employee well-being.
