The grandmother of Alberto Stefani, the president-elect of Veneto, has died. The Northern League representative was very close to him, to the point of giving his thoughts at the start of the press conference in which on Monday, after the polls closed, he celebrated the Regional win.
Paola’s grandmother was sick on Sunday evening, while the general election was taking place. “Fate chose like this, a little suddenly, precisely on one of the most important nights of my life – wrote Stefani on social media – Today the last hope has ended, I want to thank you for passing on so much to me, for raising me by teaching me the beauty of kindness, humility, simplicity, concreteness. I want to live at least an hour of these days with you and I will struggle to understand it. But I know that you will accompany me on this new journey, just as you want to accompany me with your voice and your smile before we don’t meet again.”
