Very wide fire it destroyed some skyscrapers from the Wang Fuk Court residential complex, a Hong Kongresulting in at least 36 deaths and 279 missing. Images released by local media showed entire buildings engulfed in flames and thick smoke covering the city skyline. As night fell, the fire was still out of control, hours after the first report, while 767 firefighters were involved in rescue operations.
