Rome, November 26 (askanews) – Italy of the 50s and 60s is revived in the TV movie “Carosello in love” starring Ludovica Martino and Giacomo Giorgio, on Rai 1 on November 30 in prime time. We are in 1957 and Rai is experimenting with new forms of entertainment linked to advertising messages. The protagonist of the film directed by Jacopo Bonvicini is a strong-willed and sharp girl who approaches the world of television and looks for her own role in the world of men where she meets a director with great cinematographic aspirations.

Ludovica Martino explains: “I liked the fact that he was very revolutionary at that time and that he fought for his rights, he even went against his family to be able to assert himself and to be able to find a happy place for him, for himself, in the world.”

And if you ask the two young actors what makes them envy the children of Italy that no longer exist, Martino answers: “Yes, there is nostalgia in watching films from the past, in watching our Carosello too, those years seem very beautiful”, while Giorgio says: “I am very jealous of the possibility of doing everything wrong and still being romantic and happy”.
