The Catarroja judge summons Pérez Llorca and the owner of El Ventorro as witnesses on November 21
Judge Catarroja who is criminally investigating Dana 2024, Nuria Ruiz Tobarra, has summoned the spokesperson of the PP in Les Corts Valencianes and the general secretary of the party in the Valencian Community, Juan Francisco Pérez Llorca, to testify on November 21 at 9.30 am.
Pérez Llorca, who appears as a possible replacement for Carlos Mazón after his resignation as president of the Generalitat, had three conversations on the afternoon of the floods with the former Emergency Minister, Salomé Pradas, a defendant in the proceedings. These are communications that occurred at 6.57pm. (when a missed call occurred), at 6.58pm (a 14-second communication) and at 6.59pm (nine seconds).
The judge will also call to testify that same day, only at 11.30, the owner of the El Ventorro restaurant, the place where President Carlos Mazón had lunch with the journalist Maribel Vilaplana on 29 October 2024, during the flood that caused 229 deaths in the province of Valencia. Last Wednesday the judge agreed to call as witnesses six senior officials from the hard core of the Valencian executive and the owner of the restaurant.
