Paris was afraid but continued to move forward. Paris Saint-Germain won the shock of the 12th day of Ligue 1 on the field of Olympique Lyonnais (3-2), Sunday 9 November. Thanks to this victory, the eighth of the season, the Paris team regained control of Ligue 1 at Olympique de Marseille, passing the current leaders thanks to their emphatic victory in the yard of Brest on Saturday evening (3-0). They are still two steps ahead of Phocaean, and above Lens, in third place. Defeated and disappointed, Olympique Lyonnais slipped to 7th place.
