Ralf K., missing since 2017, was found dead in Essen-Borbeck. According to police, her body was found on October 23 in a car parked in the garage.

A witness discovered the vehicle while it was working and called police. Investigators found the body in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. In 2017, extensive searches yielded no evidence of Ralf K.’s whereabouts, and information from the public was also unsuccessful.

Police said there was no evidence of foul play. DNA comparisons as part of an autopsy on October 29 confirmed the man’s identity. There is no indication that Ralf K. rented the garage.
