“Italians were massacred, not the government”

Milan, November 10 (Adnkronos) – The curtain rises on the 82nd edition of the EICMA – International Two-Wheel Show, and this year’s results were a record. In six days, more than 600,000 participants including the general public, professionals, sector operators and media ensured the success of an edition capable of combining entertainment, business opportunities and passion, establishing itself as a global reference point for the industry, motorcyclists and motorcycling culture.

With more than 730 exhibitors from 50 countries and more than 2,000 brands represented, EICMA 2025 consolidates the growth recorded in recent years and reaffirms its international dimension. The strength of this exhibition event lies in its numbers: from the post-Covid 2021 edition to today, visitors, exhibitors and occupied space have doubled.

The data for 2025 relating to B2B operators is also important: there are more than 43,000 professionals, coming from 167 countries, profiled and accredited to higher quality standards than ever before, who bring to life the pavilions of the days reserved for this sector, generating new networks and business opportunities. The increase in foreign operators is particularly significant in this area, increasing by +28% compared to 2024. In the communications sector, there is a further increase in the presence of journalists, media, technicians and content creators, whose number exceeds 8,200 and comes from 67 countries.

Among the most interesting contents of this edition, the twentieth anniversary of MotoLive, an outdoor arena of more than 60,000 square meters, the largest ever, which thrilled the audience with races, acrobatic shows, trials, competitions on two-cylinder adventure bikes and the incredible Champions Charity Race live on television, which brought together twelve motorsport legends for charity purposes.

Also enriching the exhibition offer is the “Desert Queens” exhibition, created in collaboration with ASO – Amaury Sport Organisation: a tribute to the history and myth of Dakar, with 31 real motorbikes on display for the first time in Italy, and daily meetings with the protagonists of the world’s most famous rally, which recorded more than 42,000 visits.

A big success also for YUM – Your Urban Mobility area, where thousands of visitors were able to try out more than 40 vehicles for free including electric and endothermic scooters, mopeds and quad bikes. An area of 4,000 m2 which confirms EICMA’s ability to interpret new trends in urban mobility.

The 2025 edition speaks the language of emotion with its claim “That’s Amore”, an uplifting hymn that unites manufacturers, drivers and the public. From the Tattoo Station, where more than 80,000 temporary tattoos were applied, to the MotoLive main stage, to the experiential content spread across all the pavilions, past the Adventure Area and those dedicated to Star Up and safety with the Police, the theme of ownership and love for two-wheeled vehicles filled every space of the event.

The Games Area also confirms its popularity, which also attracts thousands of young and old who play on the simulators. On a surprising surface of more than 300 m2, the largest ever created, visitors can enjoy an immersive riding experience thanks to eight latest generation simulators with real motorbikes. The challenges on the Misano Adriatico circuit provide adrenaline and entertainment enriched by the presence of VIPs, influencers and international riders.

Finally, a great response to the excellent mobility plan made by EICMA with ATM, the Municipality of Milan and Trenord. Thanks to the intelligent participation of the public and their behavior, more than 15,000 free parking spaces in the city, improved railway connections and concessions have guaranteed a smoother, more sustainable and regular visiting experience and access than in the past, although EICMA has had a great impact in the Milan metropolitan area, contributing to the success and record number of this edition.

”EICMA 2025 marks the full consecration of the transition from a fair exhibition event to a global and exciting exhibition event – said EICMA president Pietro Meda and CEO Paolo Magri –. We have worked hard to improve content, improve access to exhibitions and the visiting experience. The significant volume and quality of the content demonstrate how the event is now an experience that combines business, innovation and passion in a unique way. Our appreciation, as a thank you, also goes to our exhibitors and partners, who believe and invest in this evolution, helping to make EICMA a vibrant place, capable of telling the present and future of the two-wheeled sector”.

With a total surface area of more than 300,000 square meters, a very rich and ever-expanding offer, EICMA 2025 concludes in the name of participation, innovation and shared passion. The appointment has been set for next year, from November 3 to 8, when the event will return to Fiera Milano Rho to write a new chapter.
