She’s wanted it since she was a little girl, and now it’s come true: Philip-Elias Martinek has had her nose repaired.

Philip-Elias Martinek, who calls himself Philias, is a celebrity son. His parents are actors Xenia Seeberg and Sven Martinek. Growing up as the child of two famous people didn’t just have its advantages. The 20-year-old reported today about experiences of bullying at school. Not only was she raised by her mother who was once a Playboy star, her appearance was also repeatedly targeted.

In an interview with RTL, he explained that he was often teased because of his “snub, flat nose.” In later years, his nose suffered greatly. So much so that even as a child he wished he looked different. Initially, her mother, Xenia Seeberg, believed that the craving was just a phase. “At first you think: Oh yes, it will grow and oh, that doesn’t make sense. The nose is nice and I love you like that too! But it’s ‘I love you like that too!’ “It didn’t help him as a person,” he recalled. But the longing for a new nose remained with his son.

So a few months ago he took that step and underwent surgery. His mother was by his side at that time to support him. The procedure went well; six months later he still has swelling, but he is satisfied. “I am very, very happy and feel like a different person. Very happy,” explained Philias with a smile. He also gained confidence.

The 20-year-old is a student and now lives in his first apartment in Los Angeles, where he wants to start a new phase in his life.
