Today’s fire in Rome. Firefighters intervened via Cesare Tallone, in Tor Sapienza, due to a fire that broke out in an abandoned building in which there were people occupying it. A man was transported with a code red to Sandro Pertini hospital: he was hospitalized due to multiple fractures and carbon monoxide poisoning. He would jump from the second floor to save himself.
The burning building has been evacuated and the area made safe. At the location, along with firefighters and police, agents from the local Police Special Unit were the first to intervene and sound the alarm. At the location, the white helmet patrol of Group V Casilino was also carried out, which is still involved in managing the road system. Via Cesare Tallone is closed to traffic, with access also prohibited via Tor Cervara.
