VfL Wolfsburg will have to play without centre-back Moritz Jenz for the next while. The 26-year-old suffered a serious muscle injury in his left thigh in the away match at Werder Bremen (1:2), as announced by the Bundesliga club. Jenz is a regular for Lower Saxony and has been on the pitch eight times for full playing time in ten league games so far this season. How long the defender will be out is unclear. Jenz already missed two games at the end of October – with a hip problem.
