Google announces its “biggest investment plans in Germany”

Google announced on Tuesday “largest investment plan to date” in Germany, amounting to 5.5 billion euros in 2029, in “digital future” countries that want to catch up in the artificial intelligence race.

American tech giants want to invest “more AI infrastructure, cloud capabilities (remote computing) and economic growth” in this country, said Philipp Justus, director of Google Germany, at a press conference, alongside German Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil.
