Shortly before midnight, 20 people stormed a train and sprayed it over a wide area. Hanover Federal Police requested information and evaluated the video.
About 20 masked people stopped a regional train operated by Enno near Dedenhausen (Hannover region) on Sunday evening, storming it and spraying it over a wide area – while dozens of travelers were on board. This was announced by a spokesperson for the Hanover Federal Police Inspectorate.
According to authorities, the perpetrators pulled two emergency brakes and opened four doors shortly before midnight to stop the train. They then sprayed the outer walls of the car in an area of around 150 square meters. According to investigators, at that time there were around 30 to 40 passengers on the train. No one was hurt.
After the incident, the group fled in an unknown direction, he said. Federal police are investigating property damage and dangerous interference with rail traffic. The video material that has been secured is currently being evaluated, he said. The extent of the damage still needs to be determined.
