A man allegedly kidnapped his former partner after killing his new partner in Champigny-sur-Marne

The hunt lasted all day. This Tuesday, November 11, at midnight, a man from Combs-la-Ville, in Seine-et-Marne, was arrested by the BRI (research and intervention brigade), according to police sources. He is suspected of killing the day before, in Champigny-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne), a man who was in a relationship with his former partner.

The Créteil prosecutor’s office, which is leading the investigation, confirmed to Le Parisien the arrest of a man and indicated that an investigation into murder, abduction and abduction had been opened, entrusted to the 94th judicial police. However, this required “the greatest caution” as the trial had just begun. The suspect was placed in police custody.

Taken by force along with his son

Police started looking for him in the morning, alerted by the 37-year-old woman. According to police sources, she was forcibly taken to the suspect’s house, along with their 9-year-old child. Exiled in Combs, he managed to escape and take refuge in the neighborhood.

Police officers from Seine-et-Marne rushed to the scene to help the victim and her son, while their colleagues from Val-de-Marne attended the scene of the alleged crime in Champigny.

The body has disappeared

There, they found traces of blood but did not find the body of his new partner, who was 36 years old. They also noticed missing sheets, another police source said. Who mentioned that the place seemed to have been cleaned.

The mother, in shock, was taken to a local hospital. The suspect has disappeared. For security reasons, Raid personnel were deployed in the afternoon in Combs-la-Ville. By the end of the day, only two police cars remained in the residence’s parking lot. Suppose the man decides to go home or give up.

Their arrival did not escape the attention of local residents. “It was about 11 o’clock when I looked out the window. There were at least five police cars, said a witness who was surprised by the large police presence. They were carrying rams or something, very large objects. They remained here in large numbers until about 2 o’clock in the afternoon. »

“The police saw me going out when I was going shopping. So they let me go back in. But they prevented the entry of a neighbor who they obviously hadn’t seen coming out. Nobody wanted to tell me anything. But it was quite spectacular,” said a resident of the building which has around 70 apartments where the police were still observing in the afternoon. According to him, there were a total of around twenty police officers at the location.
