A tobacco seller from Annecy (Haute-Savoie) was arrested and detained by police for advocating terrorism, Thursday 13 November after a complaint from the newspaper Charlie Hebdo a day earlier, franceinfo learned on Friday from a source close to the matter.

Newspaper management Charlie Hebdo has filed a complaint on Wednesday, after receiving a threatening email from this tobacconist, because of his latest A depicting terrorist Salah Abdeslam naked, in a suggestive position with another character referred to as “God”.
This person, unknown to the justice system and intelligence agencies, was arrested and detained by police on Thursday. A search took place at his house. The local DCOS (former judicial police) is responsible for open investigations.
